The main purpose of this site is to create a platform to support those who are preparing for their RACGP exams particularly the OSCE RACGP exams. In addition, we are here to promote Mental Health awareness and training, better self care for Doctors, and a biopsychosocial model of health for patients. We are independent of the RACGP.

Holding onto our thoughts, feelings, beliefs and rules with differing levels of tightness
Learning to hold our thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and rules like holding a glass of water with ease is a simple idea, but a very difficult thing to achieve. Too tightly and it may give us discomfort. Too lightly and it may drop.
Not too tightly but not too lightly either. Aim for a level of “ease”. This is defusion. It often requires ongoing titration dependent on context.
I wonder if you can relate…
