The main purpose of this site is to create a platform to support those who are preparing for their RACGP exams particularly the OSCE RACGP exams. In addition, we are here to promote Mental Health awareness and training, better self care for Doctors, and a biopsychosocial model of health for patients. We are independent of the RACGP.

Helping our patients to “titrate” how tightly to hold our thoughts, feelings, or beliefs
When we hold information, thoughts, feelings, or beliefs too tightly, we may become too obsessed with it, too controlling, prone to black and white thinking, and become more psychologically inflexible.
When we hold information, thoughts, feelings, or beliefs too lightly, we may become too laxed, too flexible, too scattered, unfocused, unmotivated, or even apathetic.
Part of counseling is to help folks hold information, thoughts, feelings, or beliefs with the “right amount of tightness” depending on the type of information, thoughts, feelings, or beliefs, AND the context.
It’s a tough gig for sure to “titrate”
